Ready to design digital experiences that genuinely make a difference? Join Zurich’s Design team as a UX Designer on a 12-month contract and play a key role in shaping simpler, smarter and more human journeys for our Retail Motor customers.

Working in a fast-moving, multidisciplinary team, you’ll design and support the delivery of intuitive, insight-led interactions across web and app journeys. Using a human-centred design approach, you’ll turn customer research, data and best practice into seamless experiences that solve real customer needs.

As part of Zurich’s Design chapter, you’ll collaborate with UX, Product and Service Designers, learn from the Head of Design, and continue to grow your craft in an environment that values curiosity, experimentation and continuous improvement. You’ll also connect with our regional and global design communities, contributing to design capability and best practice across Zurich.

Important to your success - Unlock your potential 

• 4+ years’ experience in UX, digital product or interaction design
• A customer-first mindset, with the ability to turn research, empathy, and insight into meaningful design action
• Strong UX/UI craft across web and app, from wireframes and user flows through to polished prototypes ready for delivery
• Curiosity for AI-augmented experiences and new ways of working, with a willingness to experiment and learn
• Confidence using data and measurement to understand design impact and guide decisions
• Creative critical thinking skills, with the practicality to bring smart, customer-focused ideas to life
• Comfort working through ambiguity, partnering with Product Owners and stakeholders to plan, prioritise and communicate design work clearly.
